Dulux® Armourspray EP® (Previously Dulux Antigraffiti)
Armourspray Environmental Protection has been
formulated to perform in environments where
most other powders would find the going too tough.
Petrol Pumps, Geothermal Power Stations, Bus Stops, Street Furniture, Outdoor signage,
Garage Doors, Operating Theatres, Abattoirs, Dairy Factories, Trains, Security Lockers, Telephone
Boxes, Post Boxes, Lamp Posts.
Dulux Armourspray EP has also been formulated to resist most forms of graffiti. The film
properties that allow graffiti to easily remove also imparts high levels of scratching, abrasion,
and UV resistance. The additional investment in this coating is easily off set by the reduced
maintenance costs and longer life of surfaces prone to the graffiti artist.
Dulux Armourspray EP as an Antigraffiti coating is recommended for used on
public transport, street furniture, signs and playground equipment where graffiti is most
prominent. Dulux Armourspray EP has been used on projects including the Great
South Pacific Express and Telecom New Zealand phone boxes. Armourspay EP as an
environmental protection coating is recommended where normal powder coatings would find the
going too tough.
As projects for Dulux Armourspray EP are colour specific, it is a primarily a made to order
product, however, White and Clear are available in stock in most locations.
Armourspray EP is a trademark of Orica Powder Coatings NZ.

Pacificgold® Copol™
Pacificgold Copol is a range of polyester epoxy powder coatings and is
recommended for use in applications where resistance to general chemicals and reasonable
hardness are required.
Pacificgold Copol powders are used extensively in shelving for supermarkets
and industry, for tap-ware, automotive sub components and appliances.
The combination of polyester and epoxy resins gives rise to descriptions as "hybrid"
and modified epoxy. Hybrid powders are the most common powder coatings used in the world given
their all round use in metal finishing. The epoxy resin gives the chemical resistance and
physical hardness whilst the polyester resin provides some ultra violet resistance important
for items exposed to the sun through windows.
The Pacificgold Copol range includes some of the popular standard colours but otherwise can
be made to order in a wide variety of colour and finishes.
Copol is a trademark of Orica Powder Coatings NZ.

Pacificgold® Crystal™ Clear
Pacificgold Crystal Clear is a high gloss, water white clear powder coating ideal for
finishing of metal parts, be they solid, metallic - over powder coatings or baked paint
systems.
Pacificgold Crystal Clear is a low cure system which means it can be applied to a host of
metals including brass which tends to tarnish if uncoated, and tarnish if baked on traditional
powder coat settings.
Pacificgold Crystal Clear is used extensively for finishing on metallic coatings such as
aluminium extrusion, panel work, alloy wheels, bicycle frames, automotive components and so on.
Pacificgold Crystal Clear has very good ultra violet light resistance so it is suitable for
use on furniture and frames exposed to continuous sunlight. Pacificgold Crystal Clear is
equally suitable for high traffic locations such as hand rails and balustrades that are subject
to handling and scuffing.

Pacificgold® Dupol™
Pacificgold Dupol is a polyester grade powder coat suited to outdoor exposure on a
variety of substrates.

and/or where a high distinction of image (DOI) is desired.
Pacificgold Dupol Polyester has a multitude of possible uses over varied substrates from
steel to aluminium. Examples of the application of this chemistry includes bicycles, garden
tools, lawn mowers, industrial transformers and heavy equipment, architectural finishes and
automotive components.

|
Pacificgold® Dupol™ FPG
Pacificgold Dupol FPG is a polyester casting grade powder coat suited to application to
porous substrates such as galvanised steel and castings.
Pacificgold Dupol FPG has been developed specifically to assist in the degassing stage
associated with galvanised surfaces. If the galvanised surface is not properly prepared, the
surface will release gases during the stoving process which can cause "bubbles" in the top coat
of a conventional powder coating.
Pacificgold Dupol FPG has been developed to not only allow the out gassing to occur, but
also allow any bubbles which are formed in the molten coating to break and heal prior to the
gel point.
Pacificgold Dupol FPG is equally appropriate for use on galvanised steel to minimise the
problem of bubbling. In most cases, the use of Pacificgold Dupol FPG allows the degassing stage
to be eliminated.
Pacificgold Dupol FPG is available in New Zealand as a made to order, or there is a range
of colours held in stock in Australia which can be made available in New Zealand.
Dupol is a trademark of Orica Powder Coatings NZ.

Dulux® Microtec® HT
Pacificgold Microtec HT is a thin film polyester epoxy powder coating suitable for use on
flat sheet metal.
Standard powder coatings need to be applied between 50 to 80 microns in order to deliver
suitable colour coverage, a smooth film and remove the presence of nibs or inclusions.
Microtec HT is capable of film builds down to 30 microns when applied through suitably
designed spray and recovery equipment to flat sheet metal. The Polyester epoxy system provides
the hard wearing, robust surface along with general chemical resistance properties. The cost of
specialised spray equipment essential to delivering the thin film effect can generally be
recovered from the reduced coating costs involving powder purchase and waste.
Microtec HT is being used on a variety of flat sheet products including supermarket shelving
and office furniture such as filing cabinets and shelves. Indeed with the correct equipment and
skills in place, Dulux Microtec HT can be applied to fabricated and odd shape metals such as
pallet racking.

Powder Primers
Orica Powder Coatings offer a range of stock powder coating primers for the purpose of
improving product finishing for aesthetic and / or functional purposes. Orica can also design
a primer for a particular end application where desired.
The range of stock primers include:
- SU Primer (Sealer Undercoat) - is designed for very porous substrates such as galvanised
metals or sand castings. This primer is used commonly on galvanised fences and fittings
before a top coat is applied, to provide optimal film appearance and improved moisture
resistance from sea spray.
- UC Primer (Undercoat) - is designed for general metal castings that need some assistance
with pin hole resistance, as in the case of alloy wheel castings or balustrade fittings.
- The UC primer also assists with preparing perforated or sharp edge metals that need
additional film build to reduce risk of under creep corrosion. The advantage of the UC primer
is the wider choice of top coats which can be applied, including various wet paints.
- Zincshield Primer - Zincshield is designed to provide additional corrosion inhibition
on abrasively blasted steel products. The Zinc component provides sacrificial opportunities
to the steel whilst the epoxy resin system provides improved chemical resistance and coating
